Convocation Terms of Reference

Convocation is the body that is empowered to discuss and declare the opinion of its members on any matter relating to the University

The Convocation is comprised of:

· Graduates of the University

· Academic and academic related staff

· Senior Officers of the University

· Chancellor and Pro –Chancellors

Convocation may have matters referred to it by its members and the University Court.

Its role is to:

· Provide a formal channel through which its members may communicate their views and opinions and support the work of the University

· Safeguard the good reputation of the University

· Act as a forum for discussion and debate

· Organise events and sponsor awards and prizes
