Welcome to Planning and Business Development a division within the Corporate Planning and Governance Department at the University of Ulster.
The division is responsible for all planning, operations and systems activities relating to:
- institutional corporate planning policy, and procedural development
- operational planning and performance review and measurement
- provision of management and decision support information
- business development support strategies and processes
The Planning and Business Development division manages, develops and supports the planning and business development processes which enable the University of Ulster to achieve its vision, core strategic aims and cross-cutting aims. It is responsible for, inter alia,
- providing business support for the Senior Management Group (SMG) and the Vice-Chancellor's Advisory Group (VCAG) when it is considering financial (VCAG Fin) and resource (VCAG Resources) matters,
- development and monitoring of the Corporate Plan and the Integrated Corporate Programme (ICP) the annual statement of strategic activities,
- providing strategic advice and guidance to Faculties and Departments on planning and policy matters,
- providing strategic support for various projects and development initiatives.
